About Us
Donetta Floyd, MS, RDN, LDN, Nutrition Therapist
Donetta is Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a Masters in Nutrition. Donetta loves meeting clients where they are on their nutrition journey and working to help find freedom in their relationship with food in a society saturated in diet-culture. She uses a Health at Every Size, Intuitive Eating, and non-diet approach when working with her clients. She embraces and enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults from marginalized populations.
Donetta believes food is social and cultural and should be enjoyed. She believes being a person of color brings a different, yet valuable, dynamic to nutrition conversations because typical nutrition recommendations do not account for foods that are common to underrepresented populations. Donetta believes everybody’s life, body, and lived experience matters regardless of race, ethnicity, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, social class, education, physical/mental abilities, etc.
Donetta also loves Jesus, her family and friends, being outdoors, cookouts, desserts, listening to music, watching sports, traveling, and having fun!
