Two Nutrition Tips For More Energy - Back To School Edition
I want to share two tips for more energy that are targeted to my teachers out there with back to school happening, but this actually applies to everyone out there.
Here it goes:
Eat breakfast
Eat lunch
I know, insert huge eyeroll.
But listen up.
Teachers as well as any other professional that spends their day people-facing and serving others are almost ALWAYS the clients that let eating fall to the wayside and soon as things get busy.
Teachers start their day super early, often breakfast is something small, maybe even drinkable, it might happen when they get to work, and often, not at all.
And same with lunch. People need you, you have work to catch up or get ahead on, or you are just flat out anxious about what needs to get done and it feels even more anxiety provoking to stop and eat.
Ya’ll, we say it all the time at Simple Nutrition.
When you eat throughout the day, you will feel more like a human.
And not just any human, but one that is more focused, more alert, less irritable, and with more pep in their step.
Am I talking to you right now?
Then here’s what I want you to do, take 15-20 min for yourself two times a day and eat a meal with multiple components in it that tastes good to you. Set a timer if it makes you feel better. 30-40 minutes a day has the potential to change the way you feel!
Can you relate to nourishment falling to the wayside when stuff gets busy? I know you are not alone, leave a comment below and let’s build a community of validation.
