The Simple Nutrition Way
The Simple Nutrition Way
A personalized, 10-session journey toward feeling more confident about food, nutrition, and your health.
Have You Ever Thought…
“Every time I look online, someone is telling me something different about what I should eat.”
“I know a lot about nutrition, but I don’t know how to make it work best for me.”
“I can follow a plan for a while, but eventually I fall off the wagon and feel like I’ve failed again.”
“I want to take care of myself and feel good, but I don’t want food and my body to take up so much of my mental energy.”
Then The Simple Nutrition Way Might Be For You…
The Simple Nutrition Way
A personalized 10-session framework for helping you eat well and improve your health and wellbeing.
Developed by helping hundreds of clients gain confidence and clarity to nourish themselves.
There is A LOT of nutrition information out there.
One person says to eat more protein (A LOT MORE PROTEIN). Another says to cut carbs. Someone else has a new rule about what and when you should or shouldn't be eating. And somewhere in all of that, you're just trying to figure out how to eat well, feel good, and take care of yourself.
Maybe you've tried different ways of eating or weight-loss plans, only to find that you can stick with them for a while before they stop working for your life. Maybe you're tired of starting over, second-guessing your food choices, or spending so much time thinking about food and your body. And we want you to know that it’s not you, nutrition shouldn’t be this complicated.
We can help you make eating well and taking care of yourself easier.
The Simple Nutrition Way is a personalized 10-session guided experience where you'll work one-to-one with your dietitian to make sense of nutrition, figure out what works for your body and your life, and feel more confident in your choices.
Together, we'll quiet the nutrition noise, build practical skills, and create a personalized road map for taking care of yourself…without adding another set of food rules to your life.
We are in network with BCBS and Aetna insurance and if we are not in network with your particular plan, self pay is available.

When was the last time a healthcare provider sat down with you for an hour or more to really understand what was going on with you?
That is what we do here together.
From medications to your history with food to what you are doing now, we will cover it in this session.
And we'll talk about what you want for yourself and the why behind your being here.
We'll reflect back what we've heard you say, share some insights about what we see, and make any adjustments needed to our plan for working together.
The information you share will help us make recommendations throughout our 10 sessions together that fit your needs,
-
There is A LOT of nutrition info out there. Here, we're going to quiet the noise and go back to the basics.
We'll talk about protein and fats, learn what you already know, fill in the gaps with nutrition education, address misinformation, and look at the science to help you understand what's true and what's not.
And then we will take what we learned from your first session and along the way and give you guidance about protein and fat that fits your life and aligns with your goals.
But here's the thing: you're not going to walk away with a list of new food rules that you have to figure out how to fit into your life.
You won't leave with recommendations like “eat mountainfuls of canned tuna and cottage cheese.”
Instead, we'll approach these topics from a knowledge is power perspective. You'll build an understanding of protein and fats that can help you make sense of your current habits, decide what might be helpful for you, and feel more confident in your nutrition decisions for years to come.
-
When they first start working with us, many clients have a complicated relationship with carbohydrates. Often, they're avoiding foods they enjoy or aren't getting as much fiber as they'd like.
We'll bust myths, address misinformation about carbohydrates, and look at the science to help you understand what your body needs.
We'll also talk about fiber and explore practical ways to get more of it in your diet, if that would be helpful for you.
And just like with protein and fats, you won't walk away with another list of restrictive food rules that makes your relationship with carbs more complicated than it needs to be.
We're not going to tell you to give up your favorite treats or cultural foods. Instead, we'll help you understand how carbohydrates and fiber fit into your overall nutrition, so you can feel more confident making choices that work for you.
-
Nutrition isn't just about what foods you eat, what foods you don't eat, and how much. There are other important pieces that don't get nearly enough attention: hunger, fullness, and satisfaction.
Do you ever find yourself hungry when you feel like you just ate? Ravenous when you walk in the door after work? Standing in front of the pantry at night looking for something to eat, even when you're not sure what you're looking for?
Together, we'll explore what's going on and help you better understand your body's signals and your eating patterns.
Rather than assuming you're doing something wrong, we'll get curious about what might be contributing to these experiences and what could help.
If emotional eating is something you want to work on, we may add another session to give that topic the time and attention it deserves.
-
Between our previous session and this one, you'll use a hunger and fullness cues sheet to notice what's happening in your day-to-day life. You'll pay attention to hunger, fullness, energy patterns, and satisfaction...not to grade yourself, but to learn more about what your body is telling you.
We'll use those observations to explore adjustments to what and when you're eating, based on what you notice and what would make your life easier.
We'll also talk about how to build satisfying meals using what you've learned about your body alongside the nutrition information we've covered in earlier sessions.
And snacks? They're an important part of nutrition, too! We'll talk about how snacks can support your needs and build a list of options you actually like, so planning for them feels easier.
The goal isn't to eat perfectly. It's to find eating rhythms that help you feel nourished, satisfied, and ready for your day.
-
Let's see how those adjustments went!
Sometimes it takes a little experimenting to figure out what works. We'll talk about what's going well, what isn't quite clicking, and what questions have come up. We may spend more time developing meal and snack ideas or troubleshooting the parts of your routine that feel challenging.
We'll also talk about nutrition labels and serving sizes. We've found that there's a lot of misinformation about nutrition labels, particularly when it comes to serving sizes and how to interpret the information.
Our goal is to help you understand what you're looking at, know what information is useful to you, and feel more informed and empowered when making food choices.
-
Taking care of ourselves nutritionally tends to work best when we plan ahead to at least some degree. But how much planning is needed varies wildly from one person to the next.
What works for one person may be completely unrealistic for another. Maybe you love planning meals for the whole week. Maybe you need a few reliable go-to meals and a well-stocked kitchen. Or maybe your schedule changes so much that you need a more flexible approach.
Instead of telling you there's one right way to meal plan, we'll work together to create systems that fit your life, preferences, schedule, and needs.
The goal is to make nourishing yourself easier...not to give you another thing to keep up with.
-
For so many people, exercise (we call it movement!) has been positioned primarily as a weight-loss tool. And because of that, people often abandon movement routines when they don't produce the expected “results.”
But the benefits of movement go far beyond weight. Movement can support physical health, sleep, strength, mobility, mood, and so much more.
In this session, we'll explore the ways movement can support your well-being and what it might look like to approach movement differently...not as punishment for what you've eaten or something you have to do to change your body, but as a way to care for yourself.
We'll also talk about fueling your body before, during, and after movement so you can feel good and support your needs.
-
Many of the people we work with ultimately want to be healthy. And the message we hear over and over is that thin = healthy.
But the relationship between weight and health is much more complex than that.
In this session, we'll explore what weight can and can't tell us about health, challenge some of the assumptions we've been taught about bodies, and consider other ways to understand how we're doing.
Our goal isn't to tell you what your weight should be. It's to help you think more critically about the messages you've received and feel more confident focusing on the things that support your health and well-being.
-
You've learned about nutrition, explored your body's signals, experimented with meals and snacks, and figured out what works for your life.
Now it's time to put it all together!
We'll create your personalized Simple Nutrition Road Map: a practical framework you can return to as you continue taking care of yourself.
Together, you'll identify:
What health means to me
What my body needs
What helps me feel well
My nutrition priorities
My movement priorities
What I no longer need to worry about
What I want to remember when diet culture gets loud
How I'll know I'm taking care of myself
This isn't a set of rules to follow perfectly or a plan you have to start over when life gets messy. It's a reminder of what you've learned about yourself, what matters to you, and how you can continue making choices that support your well-being.
The goal? To leave feeling more informed, more confident, and more at ease with food and your body...with a road map that's yours to keep.
